Common courtesy, road manners coupled with mutual respect between all road users is a must! We all have to share this space even as a pedestrian, the cyclist often becomes the forgotten or disposable road user. Often cyclists can also be their own worst enemy, so we attempt to broach the subject from all points view via videos etc. Feel free to post your comments throughout the blog or via Facebook or even tweet us as we need all the support we can get!
There's an argument to look at the laws for cyclingin many different areas of cycling, whether that be compulsory helmet wearing orcompulsory lights etc.Unfortunately there are far to many cyclists that aren't doing the rest of us any favours! Look out for the second rider in blue, squeezing between the bus and the pick up truck after the incident.

At the risk of generalising, when car drivers witnesses one or two cyclist's jumping red lights, it enforces a lack of respect and resentment towards other innocent cyclists! This type of selfish riding needs to be addressed Now!
It's incredible to think there doesn't seem to be any real enforcement of the law being enforced on cyclists for this type of behavior, as in the last video clip, the cyclist that goes through the lights, is completely oblivious to the fact that the woman was pushing a baby in a pram. As far as he was concerned, he thought she was on the phone, crap and if you listen to him & how he tries to excuse himself, it's pathetic! If he had just clipped that pram, it's very likely it would've been a totally different outcome..! The cyclist who witnessed it and recorded it, is in his own way a hero! Unfortunately if when he confronted the other cyclist that went through the lights, if the situation had become ugly, I'm not sure how much the law would've backed him up! As he would probably be seen as a Vigilante.
